Job Summary :
The Vice President , Operations will play a key leadership role in shaping the strategic direction and operational execution of Insignia Event Services. This position will help drive the vision, planning, and implementation of programming across Sportsman's Park, the Great Lawn, and other owned or managed venues. The Vice President will oversee day-to-day operational activities , quality assurance and collaborate closely with the General Manager to ensure seamless management and growth of the organization.
Primary Job Duties :
Help build and execute programming and event procurement plans for Sportsman's Park and ancillary spaces, including aggressive marketing and relationship-building locally, regionally, and nationallyEnsure consistency in processes and procedures across all assigned departments , including sales, operations, production, and client services with rigorous attention to safety and efficiency of operationsH ir e , train, superv ise , and evalua te management , administrative, and supervisory staff across Parking, Facilities & Operations , and Events areasAssist in the development and maintenance of employee job descriptions, responsibilities, and performance standards , including timely and effective evaluationsPrepare and maintain required reports / records for State Farm Stadium stakeholders, government agencies, and management teamProvide oversight of day-to-day operations and quality assurance , ensuring the coordination of plans, programs, and events, and conduct post-event operational and financial review and analysisEnsure that all event production / operations are conducted in accordance with applicable local, state, and federal regulationsAssist in Identify and additional revenue streams (i.e., securing parking and / or a / v operations service contracts at other venues, renting portable sanitation vessels, etc.)Collaborate with concession partners to design strategies and implementation of food and beverage programs including general concessions, for both public and private eventsEnsure timely and effective guest service by responding to phone calls, emails, and website inquiries. Address and resolve issues within a 24-hour timeframeResponsible for the operational aspects of ensuring the property around State Farm Stadium, and other venues, is appropriately configured based on the client's needs, including but not limited to parking needs, perimeter needs, directional signage, etc.Communicate financial insights to direct reports, including budgets, forecasts, labor costs, and product expensesMaintain positive client relationships and act as the primary liaison in the General Manager's absenceEvaluate, improve and implement policies, process and procedures all in an effort to enhance efficiency, safety and overall experienceLead post-event recaps that yield insights and promote data-driven decision-making and recommendationsLead and oversee an Events production group responsible for day-to-day business operationsDocument, implement, and train key processes, policies, and procedures that deliver high quality and consistent eventsManage budgets effectively, ensuring achievement of cost targetsEvaluate, negotiate , and manage contracts with key vendors and suppliers - implement deal structures that best serve business needsOther duties as assigned / requiredQualifications / Requirements :
Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent relevant experience in operations, entertainment, communications, and / or business administration5 + years of related work experience in sports , entertainment , large-scale events, or strategic financial planningProven executive management and leadership experienceExperience building and maintaining great vendor relationshipsEstablished track record of developing and managing budgetsExperience in billing settlements and contracts preferredExperience and knowledge in overseeing and maintaining a facilityComputer savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) , Asana, and Salesforce a plusAbility to effectively work in a fast-paced environment with multiple competing priorities that require strong project management, decision-making capabilities, and flexibilityExperience supporting a healthy culture within an organization to include collaboration across teams and departmentsCan communicate effectively with all individuals across the organizationAvailable to work on event days including nights, weekends , and holidaysMust be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to eight ( 8 ) hours in lengthAbility to lift up to 20-30 poundsAbility to work in temperature fluctuations and around excessive noiseExperience with management, leadership, and conflict resolutionAll offers of employment at Insignia Event Services are contingent upon clear results of a thorough background check .
