Shore United Bank is seeking a full-time Financial Advisor to join our team. A Financial Advisor provides businesses and individuals with sound advice regarding financial planning and investments. Duties include meeting with clients to establish needs and review financial statements, developing financial plans to maximize profitability or reduce debts, researching investment opportunities, and working with clients, prospects and staff to meet objectives and revenue production goals as part of the division's annual operating plan. This is a licensed position (FINRA Series 7 and 66, or equivalent, and VA L&H) with the ability to execute investment transactions.

Required Education and Experience :
High school diploma / GED equivalent required.A BS or BA degree in Finance or related field preferred.Active status required : Series 7 Licensing; Series 63 and 65 (or 66) Licensing; Insurance Licensing in Life, Health, and Variable Annuities.Minimum experience within a wealth management role : 1-5 years (Financial Advisor I) or 5-10 years (Financial Advisor II).Must have the ability to travel to meet with various clients and attend community events as needed.Experience on LPL Financial ClientWorks platform and / or Fi-Tek GWES Platform preferred.Certified Financial Planner (CFP); Certified Trust and Financial Officer (CTFA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA), Certified Private Wealth Advisor (CPWA), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) preferred.Essential Functions Include :
Meeting individually with clients to determine their financial objectives, risk tolerance, income, expenses, and assetsOffering strategic advice on products and services, such as investments, insurance coverage and debt management toolsSecuring stocks and bonds and establishing progressive savings accountsMoving money from accounts per industry and federal regulationsPerforming market research to stay current with financial trendsPreparing financial documents, such as income projections and investment reportsMaintaining compliance with all rules and regulations in the financial industryIdentifying and pursuing potential clients to maintain a strong client baseDevelops and maintains a high level of knowledge of investment disciplinesDevelops and maintains new client files with the support of the administrative teamAdheres to all Compliance Rules and Regulations set forth by NASD, Broker-Dealer and Bank Compliance DepartmentsAttends various community functions to promote services providedAchieves goals assigned as part of the Department\'s annual operating plan with sub-items belowJointly establishes quantitative sales objectives, with assigned supervisor, on an annual basisSolicits new business from present and prospective customersPromotes an environment and culture to support and improve sales and referral activities to meet overall defined goalsResponds to referrals within a reasonable timeframe not to exceed two (2) business daysCoordinates specific work tasks with other personnel within the division as well as with other branches / departments to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of informationAbides by the current laws and organizational policies and procedures designed and implemented to promote an environment which is free of harassment and other forms of illegal discriminatory behavior in the workplaceCommunicates with management and staff personnel to integrate goals and activitiesResponds to inquiries relating to his / her particular area, or to requests from other bank personnel, customers, etc., within given time frames and within established policyMaintains appropriate records and provides assigned reportsCompensation :
The pay range for this position is :Financial Advisor I (1-5 years experience) - $60K base plus production commissionFinancial Advisor II (5-10 years experience) - $65K base plus production commissionActual compensation offered may vary from the posted hiring range based on factors such as relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, licensure requirements and / or skill level, and will be finalized at the time of offer.Company Benefits :
