We specialize in capital and maintenance projects within refining, petrochemical and pipeline businesses. Our team consists of professionals with extensive experience in engineering and technical services, as well as facility planning and operations. We have specialists in Project Management, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Instrument, Electrical, and Controls Engineering, and Facility Operations.

The successful candidate will work in Corpus Christi, TX, Monday-Friday. The project manager will work with cross-functional teams to efficiently implement maintenance site projects as required to meet the objectives identified by the operating business. The candidate will be accountable for project planning, design development, and execution, including creation of schedules, cost estimates, and scopes of work for projects within the site Maintenance department. We are seeking an individual who can manage multiple projects in various phases, from early FEL through construction.

Will also participate within project meetings and department meetings reporting progress within assignments, answering technical questions for site and / or vendors, and all other required information needed. Onyx Engineering, Inc. values our talented personnel and the quality that our clients know and respect.

• Work within department team consisting of engineers, designers, staff and vendors to ensure all aspects of the projects are properly considered
• Effectively manage costs and schedule to drive toward best in industry performance
• Develop comprehensive execution plans with focus on scope, cost, schedule, risk management, engineering, procurement, and construction
• Effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders
• Recognize opportunities for value creation and innovation in the project management work processes
