This is a hybrid role that requires some on-site work (inside our Indianapolis, Indiana office). In addition to the on-site duties, there are additional responsibilities that can be completed outside of the office, resulting in this being a hybrid role.

You will learn how to be the expert to best serve our members :
- Act as the point of contact for assigned Select Employer Groups (SEGs), facilitating all of the sales and education events as well as the coordination of any interaction with the rest of the credit union.
- Be the subject matter expert for our curriculum of classes and be the presenter of the classes at each SEG partner, sharing relevant stories and examples to connect with class attendees.
- Demonstrate measurable results with each of these employer groups in the following areas : member growth, loan and deposit growth, product growth (units), and employee access / event engagement.
- Work to meet and exceed Business Development goals and support the overall credit union’s goals and objectives.
- Establish annual plans with each SEG outlining all onsite events and strategies, coordinating participation with the various other business units within the credit union.
- Stay informed on competitors' banking products within our market and bring innovative ideas to BD leadership team.
- Look for opportunities to engage Elements’ leadership team with SEG leaders.

Ensure follow-through on all sales and service-related questions which arise from on-site events.Establish a strong working relationship with the appropriate SEG contacts ensuring that the relationship is viewed as a partnership versus a vendor relationship.Maintain thorough knowledge of all the credit unions' products and services providing input on how best they may be marketed and sold within each SEGs.Utilize provided systems to track events and attendance and organize calendars.You will help grow the business :
Collaborate with Lead Relationship Manager on successes and opportunities at SEGs in order to facilitate growth.Participate in Relationship Manager meetings and apply best practices to grow the business.Work with Marketing to ensure all events and product specials are adequately promoted within each SEG.Contribute to the recognition of Elements as a premier financial institution of choice.Other duties as assigned.You will continue to grow professionally :
Continue to develop knowledge of industry practices, products and professional growth.Participate in appropriate learning opportunities to maintain expertise.Minimum Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.Three - five years of sales / business development experience.Must have strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create and deliver presentations.Must have strong collaboration and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport quickly and grow relationships.Ability to leverage skills, knowledge, and experience to invest in our community.Ability to foster an inclusive environment that promotes belonging.A focus on respect and excellent service to both external and internal (team) members.A proven track record of integrity with a demonstrated ability to build trust.Must be an experienced networker and rainmaker.Demonstrated ability to sell to senior executives at all levels within an organization including CEOs.Must be registered or meet registration requirements with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System Registry with an active NMLS License IDAdditional sales incentive compensation is earned in this role.
