Nationwide Therapy Group is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Yuma, Arizona. Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline : RN Start Date : 11 / 17 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel Shift : 12-Hour Nights (1845-0715) Start Date : November 17 (Start date not flexible) Guaranteed Hours : 36 per week Contract Length : 13 weeks Location : Acute Care - Trauma Level II Unit Details Department : Med Surg | Tele - 2 West Beds : 90 (double occupancy) Charting System : Epic (proficiency and recent experience required) Scrub Color : Navy Blue Scheduling & Requirements Shift Times : 6 : 45 PM - 7 : 15 AM Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend Holiday Requirement : Typically 2 of 3 major holidays Call Requirement : Low census on-call Floating : May float to Med Surg, low-acuity ICU, RDU, or Foothills Clinic RDU Orientation : 1 day NEO, 1 day clinical / EPIC, 1 day on the floor Cancellation Policy : Client may cancel up to the equivalent of weekly guaranteed hours (36, 40, or 48) for a 13-week contract. For 26-week contracts, cancellation allowance is doubled. Experience & Skills Required Experience : Minimum 2 years as RN At least 1 year in specialty Recent Trauma Level I or II hospital experience Certifications Required : BLS (ACLS preferred) BSN Required : No Patient & Staffing Information Nurse-to-Patient Ratios : Days : 1 : 5-6 Nights : 1 : 6 Common Diagnoses : Pneumonia, COPD, Radiation patients, AKI, occasional laparoscopic cholecystectomy, appendectomy, etc. Drips : Heparin and Lasix (non-titrated) Support Staff : Charge nurse (may take assignment as needed) PCAs : 8-12 patients per PCA RT equipment includes BiPAP and stable trachs Dedicated tele / monitor techs (travelers not required to read tele) Additional Notes Radius Rule : 100-mile radius applies About Nationwide Therapy Group NTG is a proud partner with healthcare professionals across the country.
