KPMG is known for providing audit, tax, and advisory services to leading organizations. We are looking for a Cloud Engineer / Cloud Architect to join our Audit Technology Alliance organization.
Responsibilities
- Own the design and implementation of scalable, resilient, and secure cloud architecture on Azure for high-performance generative AI microservices.
- Collaborate with AI / ML engineers and product managers to translate application requirements into robust, cost-effective infrastructure designs that support modern AI agent patterns.
- Champion architectural innovation and quality by evaluating and integrating new Azure services and MLOps practices.
- Drive strategic evolution of the cloud platform by architecting and optimizing Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and KEDA configurations for advanced auto-scaling and LLM usage.
- Serve as a senior technical expert and mentor to the engineering team; establish best practices for infrastructure?as?code, CI / CD, and cloud governance.
- Design and implement monitoring and observability strategies to ensure high availability and verifiable performance for the global audit practice.
- Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment.
Qualifications
Minimum eight years of recent experience in cloud architecture and solution design in an enterprise environment.Preferred : Masters degree in computer science, engineering, or related discipline; required : Bachelors degree.Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Azure, including AKS, KEDA, Azure Service Bus, and Azure AI Search.Relevant Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert are highly preferred.Strong proficiency with infrastructure?as?code principles and tools; experienced with AI / ML workloads including RAG pipelines and LLM serving.Demonstrated experience with agile methodologies and SDLC tools like Azure DevOps and Git; capable of building robust CI / CD pipelines for automated infrastructure provisioning.Excellent problem?solving abilities and strong communication skills; able to lead technical discussions and translate business requirements into secure, scalable, and reliable cloud solutions.Benefits
