We are seeking a passionate and technically skilled Studio Operations and Support Consultant to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the Studio Operations and Support Manager, this role is pivotal in ensuring smooth operation and technical support across our state-of-the-art recording studios and production suites, serving thousands of students, faculty, and visiting artists.

Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on technical support for recording studios and production suites to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Assist with setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of audio interfaces, outboard gear, consoles, and DAWs.
  • Collaborate with faculty, students, and visiting artists to support workflows and project needs.
  • Maintain documentation for studio procedures, safety, and equipment inventory.
  • Support remote or online education environments as needed.

    • Qualifications

  • B.A. in Music Production and Engineering or related music technology field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a commercial recording facility.
  • Experience in higher education or online education settings is a plus.
  • Proficiency with DAWs (Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Ableton Live).
  • Knowledge of analog and digital consoles (Neve, SSL, API).
