Description :
Orientation is bi-weekly.
The facility has 355 beds.
It houses various specialty centers including brain, cancer, heart, lung, orthopedics, general, vascular surgery, surgical weight loss, and women's health.
It features a 32 bed Emergency Department, 29 bed inpatient rehab, 15 bed surgical suite, and imaging services.
The patient population spans from birth to death.
Candidates must be located 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel positions.
The Emergency Department does not designate a trauma level but receives all trauma cases.
The position requires the ability to help in areas where competencies are established.
The nurse will provide care for a variety of conditions, including strokes, STEMIs, and trauma cases.
The equipment used is critical care equipment.
The Electronic Health Record system utilized is Cerner.
The nurse's patient ratios are typically 1 : 4 or 1 : 5.
The ideal candidate will be energetic and knowledgeable.
Scrub color is not restricted at this time, but hoodies and inappropriate t-shirts are not acceptable attire.
The role involves rotating weekend hours every other week.
