Full Charge Bookkeeper
We are looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in San Antonio, Texas. This contract-to-permanent position offers a dynamic opportunity to manage financial operations and ensure accurate, compliant recordkeeping for the organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong ability to handle multiple accounting functions independently while maintaining attention to detail and efficiency.
Responsibilities :
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoicing, payments, and collections.
- Process employee payroll, ensuring accurate tax withholdings and benefits distribution.
- Reconcile bank statements with company financial records to maintain accuracy.
- Maintain and update general ledger accounts by recording daily financial transactions.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Assist with tax filings and ensure compliance with relevant local, state, and federal regulations.
- Develop and monitor budgets and financial forecasts to support organizational planning.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments, external auditors, and advisors to ensure accurate reporting.
- Implement and optimize financial processes to improve efficiency and compliance.
Requirements :
Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.Proficiency in accounts payable and receivable operations.Strong knowledge of payroll processing and tax regulations.Hands-on experience with general ledger maintenance and journal entries.Ability to prepare and interpret financial statements and reports.Skilled in account reconciliation and resolving discrepancies.Familiarity with tax preparation and compliance requirements.Proficiency in accounting software and tools, with advanced organizational skills.
