About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Writer to lead content development for federal and commercial proposal submissions. The Senior Technical Writer will serve as a key member of the proposal team, ensuring that deliverables are clear, compliant, and persuasive. This role requires strong writing expertise, familiarity with the proposal lifecycle, and the ability to mentor junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Content Leadership : Develop compliant, compelling, and well-structured proposal narratives.
• Strategic Review : Analyze RFPs, RFIs, and SOWs to identify requirements, risks, and win themes.
• Proposal Structuring : Design outlines, storyboards, and templates that drive consistency across volumes.
• Compliance Management : Lead the development and validation of compliance matrices, tracking 100% requirement coverage.
• Mentorship : Guide junior writers on drafting, editing, and compliance techniques.
• Editing & Quality Control : Conduct in-depth reviews to ensure readability, technical accuracy, and alignment with solicitation requirements.
• Collaboration : Work with SMEs, capture managers, and proposal leadership to translate technical input into polished, customer-focused content.
• Process Improvement : Recommend enhancements to proposal writing standards, templates, and style guides.
