With a close-knit team of around 35 employees and a growing fleet of 13 CNC machines (with plans to expand), the company is known for its in-house design and manufacturing capabilities and its commitment to quality craftsmanship.

About the Role

As a CNC Programmer , you'll play a key role in developing and improving part programs using Esprit Edge . This position focuses on lathe programming with live tooling in a high-mix, low-volume environment , typically producing 1 to 5 parts per job . Your experience will directly support the shop’s continued growth and reputation for excellence.

Schedule

• Standard hours :
• 6 : 00 AM – 2 : 30 PM
• and most come in at 4 AM for overtime

Responsibilities :

Program lathe and mill machines using Esprit Edge

Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications

Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and cutting parameters

Optimize programs for efficiency, accuracy, and minimal tool wear

Qualifications :

10+ years programming (Esprit Edge preferred)

Strong experience programming lathes with live tooling and 3 axis mills (5 axis mills is a plus)

Extensive background of tool technology and selection

Ability and knowledge of G-code (Fanuc Macro B is a plus)
