A key Optimus commodities trading client is seeking a highly skilled and networked Manager of Marketing – NGLs to manage this portfolio. This role focuses on value creation, flow assurance, business development, and effective team leadership while ensuring operational excellence and strategic growth in a dynamic market environment.

Required : 8–12 years of relevant work experience in oil and NGL marketing or related energy markets, preferably with relationships in the Appalachian region.

This role requires that its incumbent be in the Spring, TX office 4 days a week.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of marketing professionals overseeing ~125,000 bpd of condensate and purity NGLs, ensuring flow assurance and peer-leading netback pricing.
• Identify and pursue opportunities to optimize assets, transportation portfolios, and third-party purchase arrangements to create additional value.
• Coordinate across multiple disciplines and business units, bridging technical and market-based knowledge gaps to align corporate objectives.
• Perform comprehensive assessments of crude and NGL markets, including transportation capacity, market liquidity, and netback valuations.
• Develop and present executive-level materials to provide transparency on market conditions, trends, and opportunities.
• Create marketing plans and strategies, collaborating with midstream transporters and service providers to validate assessments and facilitate business transactions.
• Recommend business system improvements and support system implementations to enhance marketing operations.
• Build and maintain strong commercial relationships with midstream providers, buyers, sellers, and solution partners.
• Oversee internal processes such as contracting, credit reviews, counterparty setup, and transaction system integration.
