Job Description Summary :

We are seeking a Node.js Lead with 6-8 years of experience to lead the development of scalable backend services and APIs. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Node.js and associated frameworks, ensuring robust application architecture and design. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior developers, and take ownership of the project deliverables.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead the design, development, and deployment of backend solutions using Node.js.

Build and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance RESTful APIs.

Collaborate with front-end developers and other stakeholders to integrate user-facing elements.

Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards and best practices.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in existing systems.

Guide and mentor a team of developers ensuring timely delivery of project milestones.

Work in Agile / Scrum environment and contribute to sprint planning and estimation.

Essential Skills :

Strong expertise in Node.js , Express.js, and other backend JavaScript frameworks.

Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker / Kubernetes).

Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for deployment and scaling.

Proficient in API design, authentication mechanisms (OAuth, JWT), and security best practices.

Hands-on experience with CI / CD pipelines and DevOps processes.

Desirable Skills :

Familiarity with frontend technologies like React or Angular (basic level).

Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB) and relational databases.

Exposure to GraphQL API development is a plus.
