As a Cath Tech at Michigan Medicine, you will deliver exceptional care in a nationally recognized as a top ten cardiovascular center year after year.The role includes monitoring, circulating, and scrubbing on a patient population with known or suspected congenital or acquired cardiac and peripheral disease. Responsibilities*
You will participate in research protocols, while also having a role in peer to peer teaching and/or in-servicing.
Required Qualifications*
1. RCIS certification or must be eligible for RCIS exam as a graduate of an accredited program in Invasive Cardiovascular Technology with the RCIS exam being successfully completed within one year of hire.
2. OR Candidate has obtained an American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification for Radiography with at least 1-2 years of diagnostic general imaging experience and (ARRT) advanced certification for Cardiac Interventional (CI) is required within 2 years of hire.
3. OR Candidate is a graduate of a diploma, associate, or baccalaureate academic program in health science (includes, but not limited to: cardiovascular technology, ultrasound, radiologic technology, respiratory therapy, nursing or paramedic/EMT) with the RCIS exam being successfully completed within two years of hire.

Work Schedule
This is a full-time, 40 hour per week position. On call is required, with a 30-minute response time.

Positions are on site at the Frankel Cardiovascular Center, Cardiac Procedures Unit.
