COBOL Programmer/Analyst in Atlanta, GA

Our client is seeking a COBOL Programmer/Analyst to join their team. The COBOL Programmer/Analyst will be responsible for helping to convert VSAM to DB2.

Responsibilities of the COBOL Programmer/Analyst:

Handle VSAM to DB2 Conversions.

Work with team members to define best standards and practices.

Help with leading the design for development projects with COBOL/CICS.

Provide overview and development for high level design requirements.

Provide documentation for program specifications.

Assist in coaching and developing other members of the team.

Requirements of the COBOL Programmer/Analyst:

7+ years of experience Mainframe coding with COBOL, VSAM, DB2, and CICS.

5+ years of experience utilizing JavaScript & HTML.

Prior experience utilizing Java (preferred).

Prior experience with Dell Transaction Processing/Batch Processing environments (preferred).
