Client is seeking a skilled Business Analyst with at least four years of Cognos reporting experience and a strong background in documenting data, reporting systems, and process changes. The ideal candidate will have seven years of experience developing business requirements, system design documents, training materials, and process flows, as well as working closely with both business and technical teams.
Candidates must be proficient in creating and executing test scripts, data sets, and user procedures, with strong verbal and written communication skills. This role requires a collaborative, service-oriented mindset, excellent organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently. This is a full-time, remote, contract role.
Requirements : Required
- Must have four (4) or more years of experience with Cognos reporting.
- Must have Nine (9) or more years of experience writing Business System and Process Change / Design Documents, including Business Requirements Documents, System Design, Training Documents, and Process Flow Charts.
- Must have five (5) or more years of experience working with business clients and technical staff to drive the development of business and technical requirements.
- Must have Nine (9) or more years of experience working independently within guidelines, developing and executing test scripts and test cases, data sets, and user procedures.
- A solid proficiency in speaking and writing the English language is required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to gather and provide information effectively, regardless of audience.
- Must be able to work well within a team environment and have exceptional collaborative skills. Must be service-oriented with strong interpersonal skills with all levels of business and technical staff.
- Experience level with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel must be at an intermediate level or high
- Strong organization, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Comfortable prioritizing and managing multiple tasks to meet required deadlines.
- Must be a self-starter and self-motivated. Must be able to learn and apply new technology quickly.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Business Analyst in an agile project-based environment. Proficient with user stories and agile ceremonies, principles, and frameworks
Preferred :
Prefer three (3) or more years of experience (current within the last year) in an operational role at a Medicaid or Medicare agency or a Health Insurance company.Working knowledge of the following tools : Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft SharePoint, JIRA
