We are seeking a Purchasing Manager to oversee procurement and ensure a continuous supply of products at the best cost for a large company in the food industry. This role is key in developing supplier relationships, negotiating agreements, and optimizing the overall supply base to support operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities :
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and the best landed costs.
- Develop and implement supply agreements, pricing reviews, and supplier performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to manage new product launches, promotional activities, and inventory transitions.
- Monitor supplier capacity and distribution capabilities to ensure quality, cost, and service expectations are met.
- Prepare and present purchasing strategies and updates to leadership and board committees.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.4–6+ years of relevant purchasing or supply chain experience.Strong negotiation, contract management, and communication skills.Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a team.Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).This is a strategic opportunity to make an impact in procurement and supply chain operations within a fast-moving environment.
