The Director of Sales & Events with F&B 575 at Aman New York is a key position to drive business into the Food & Beverage venues. The Director of Sales & Events markets and coordinates event space on behalf of the hotel and restaurant. The Director of Sales & Events will oversee the collective coordination of all event information and resources, account management, sales prospecting, and business development. They will work collaboratively with other departmental staff to ensure that company requirements are upheld while not impeding on the ability to deliver high-quality events.
This position has a salary range of $90,000 to $100,000 + commission.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following :
- Develop and execute a comprehensive event strategy aligned with company goals and objectives.
- Lead and support the events team, ensuring efficient operations and high-quality event execution.
- Overseeing the designing and production of all marketing collateral, promotion, and

- Maintain working relationships with internal and external partners and hold these relationships to deliver innovative and memorable events.
- Make prospecting calls to potential clients, building relationships and networking to increase event sales throughout the year.
- Liaise between all hotel departments on behalf of the Sales & Events team, including Hotel, Culinary, Finance, Concierge, Club.
- Budget and forecast food and beverage, and room rental revenues for current month, three-month, current end of year, and next year.
- Create and execute annual and quarterly marketing plans of the events department (incorporating the group food and beverage sales contribution).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
5 years’ experience in a luxury hotel environment or similar setting in restaurants or food and beverage with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role in a hotel or large venue setting.Must be capable of working in a team-oriented environment to achieve the hotel’s common goal of guest satisfaction.Positive, engaging, and energetic personality.Must be personable with guests and be able to anticipate their needs.Able to be organized, manage time wisely and work with little to no direct supervision.Very high attention to detailSensitive to cultural nuancesExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal on English.
