Job Description We are Hiring at Jewish Hospital, OHRR / CVICU Location : 200 Abraham Flexner Way, Louisville, KY 40202 Shift Options : Full Time, 7p-7a About The Unit CVIC / OHRR is a 17-bed Open Heart Recovery & Cardiothoracic ICU that serves patients who undergo such cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgical procedures as CABG, valve replacement / repair, heart transplantation, and lung transplantation. Patients include those who require re-do sternotomy, as well as mini-sternotomy, aortic aneurysm repair, and CABG / valve combination procedures. Nurses care for patients who require a variety of mechanical circulatory support devices, as well as ECMO. Job Summary The Registered Nurse provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. Additional Job Description Required Qualifications
• Licensed or eligible for license in Kentucky
• Basic Life Support (BLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required for some units
• Associates's degree from accredited college or University Preferred Qualifications
