Job Description & Requirements

• Specialty : ICU - Intensive Care Unit
• Discipline : RN
• Duration : 13 weeks
• 36 hours per week
• Shift : 12 hours, nights
• Employment Type : Local Contract
• Number of Beds - 14
• Number of Staff – 8 RNs per shift
• Type of staff : 1 Charge RN plus7-8 Staff RNs per shift
• Patient Ratios – 2 : 1, 1 : 1
• Type of equipment – Alaris IV pumps,
• EMR - EPIC
• Typical Procedures : Intubation, art line insertion, chest tube insertion, central line insertion
• Floating : Per union contract if unit is overstaffed travelers will float out to other departments first- MOU, CVSU, Ortho, Rehab or SPCU.
