Job description

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions Regional is seeking a local contract nurse RN Stepdown for a local contract nursing job in Anchorage, Alaska.

Job Description & Requirements

  • Specialty : Stepdown
  • Discipline : RN
  • Duration : 13 weeks
  • 36 hours per week
  • Shift : 12 hours, nights
  • Employment Type : Local Contract
  • Number of Beds - 34
  • Number of Staff – 60
  • Type of staff : RN / CNA

Day Shift – 1 charge and 9-11 nurse, 2 aides

  • Night Shift – 1 charge and 7-9 nurses
  • Patient Ratios – 1 : 4
  • Type of equipment – tele, bedside monitor, defib machine, alaris pumps, kangaroo pump, CT, pacer wires, pacing box
  • EMR - Epic
  • Typical Procedures : TEE and cardioversion
  • Floating : ICU and COVID Units

    • Must Haves :

  • An ASN degree minimum, BSN preferred
  • A recent 12 months of PCU RN experience in an acute hospital setting
  • AK RN License
  • BLS, ACLS, and NIH Certifications

    • Preferred or Nice to Have :

  • Cardiovascular background
  • EPIC Experience
  • Travel Experience
