Food and Beverage Assistant Manager
Four Seasons Hotel and Residences New Orleans is seeking candidates to join our dynamic Food and Beverage Team as Food and Beverage Assistant Manager. This role plans, organizes, controls and directs the work of employees in the Hotel's Food and Beverage outlets while ensuring guest satisfaction.
What You Will Do :
- Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all employees in the designated Food and Beverage outlet to ensure that established cultural and core standards are met; daily activities and planning for outlet operation.
- Provide support and leadership by being visible in the operation, provide recognition, promote good public relations, and handle complaints, concerns or special requests for guests, clients, and group contacts.
- Describe and ensure quality of all food items, ingredients, and preparation methods, as well as provide expert knowledge of wine and spirits in an elegantly appointed environment dedicated to an attentive and distinctive experience for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
- Control labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, purchasing decisions, and inventory and cash control.
- Attend regular operational meetings to ensure effective coordination and cooperation between departments.
- Observe physical condition of facilities and equipment in the outlet and make recommendations for corrections and improvements as needed.
- Fully understand and comply with all federal, state, county, and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety, and labor requirements of the food and beverage establishments, employees and guests.
What You Will Bring :
3 to 4 years' experience working in Bar / Food & Beverage Management preferred1 to 2 years' experience working in luxury bars / restaurants preferredStrong beverage knowledge of beer, wine and liquor requiredTIPS and ServSafe certifications requiredWork authorization in the United States requiredWhat We Offer :
