Responsibilities :

• Load proper tooling into press brake by entering instructions, setting tool registers, calculating requirements including basic math, geometry and trigonometry.
• Verifies setting by measuring position.
• Maintains specifications by observing machine operations, taking measurements, detecting malfunctions, troubleshooting processes; and adjusting and reprogramming controls, sharpening and replacing worn tools, adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.
• Must be familiar and able to set up and operate other sheet metal forming equipment as job requirements demand.
• Ensuring you adhere to all ASGCO policies and procedures.
• Following and accountable for Safety policy and procedures.
• When necessary, provide training on all aspects of the press brake.
• Maintains shop, equipment, tools, vehicle, etc. for the purpose of ensuring the availability and functioning of required items.
• Coordinates with administration and other trades for the purpose of completing projects / work orders efficiently.
• Requests equipment and supplies for the purpose of maintaining inventory and ensuring availability of required item.
• Work well with limited supervision.
• Responds to emergency situations as needed and / or assigned for the purpose of resolving immediate safety concerns.
• Other responsibilities as seen fit by management.
