Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a part-time, acute care role requiring ARRT (N) or NMTCB and BLS certifications.
Responsibilities
Work in an acute care hospital setting specializing in nuclear medicinePerform nuclear medicine studies including hearts, HIDAs, GI bleeds, VQ scans, bone scans, renal, gastric emptying, sentinel node and lymph system injections, lexiscans, pulmonary, and thyroid scansAverage daily caseload ranges from 5 to 10 scansUtilize Siemens Symbia equipmentPart-time, day shift schedule Monday through Friday, 7 : 30 AM to 12 : 30 PMWeekend call required from 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PMCerner EMR is used for documentationDuties include performing a wide variety of nuclear medicine diagnostic studies and injectionsScrub color is teal and must be provided by the candidateCandidates may not have been employed by facilities associated with CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity within the past yearManagers will conduct interviews with selected candidatesRequirements
Minimum of 3 years recent experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in an acute care hospital settingCurrent ARRT (N) or NMTCB certificationActive BLS certificationExperience with Siemens Symbia equipment preferredProficiency with Cerner EMRMust possess a valid Nuclear Medicine license if applicableSubmission requires an active state license; pending licenses will not be acceptedTwo professional references are required : one supervisor reference from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor reference from within the last 3 yearsCopy of driver’s license required for considerationNo first-time travelers will be considered for this positionBenefits
