Overview
Searching for a Hematologist / Oncologist at the Assistant, Associate or Professor level to join the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) in the Hematology-Oncology Division at Zuckerberg San Francisco General (ZSFG) Hospital and Trauma Center. The Department of Medicine at UCSF is recruiting for part-time or full-time positions. The selected candidate will be appointed at a rank and series commensurate with their experience and qualifications.
Candidates must have demonstrated clinical skills in managing patients with hematologic disorders and / or solid tumors, excellent teaching skills and / or an interest in conducting clinical and behavioral research. Interest and a published track-record in health care disparities and outcomes research is preferred.
Clinical duties will include rotating on an inpatient consultation service in a safety-net hospital; caring for outpatients in a specialty clinic and managing an e-consult service. Teaching opportunities will involve medical students, residents, Hematology-Oncology fellows and advanced practice providers (APPs).
Candidates should be ABIM-certified in Medical Oncology and / or Hematology or be board-eligible. Bi-lingual providers are also desirable.

The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5. The minimum base salary range for this position is $131,200-$344,400. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.
