Vaco is hiring for a Risk Coordinator / Insurance Claims opportunity in Monroe OH

Contract, Onsite

Salary : 27-30 / hr

Summary Role Description :

The Risk Coordinator I is responsible for assisting in the effective implementation of risk management, insurance, claims, and Contractor Insurance Program (CIP) policies and procedures. This role collaborates with the Director of Risk Management, Assistant Risk Manager, Corporate Claims Manager, safety and operations personnel, insurance company representatives, brokers, and other vendors to ensure compliance and accuracy across all risk-related activities.

Key Duties and Responsibilities :

The Risk Coordinator I will demonstrate competency in the following areas to perform safely, productively, and effectively. The list below represents the general scope of the role and may not include all tasks required.

Support Risk Management, Insurance, Claims, and CIP Processes

Prepare CIP enrollment forms confirm receipt of enrollment.

Maintain worksheets and documentation for calculating CIP credits.

Ensure receipt, physical storage, and maintenance of CIP policy documents and related information in the CIP database.

Assist with client insurance certificate documentation and ordering systems; help others obtain and process requests and approvals.

Review subcontractor insurance certificates for accuracy and compliance; communicate with subcontractors, insurance agents, and project personnel until compliance is achieved.

Claims and Incident Reporting

Participate in accident and incident reporting by reviewing initial accident reports for accuracy and completeness.

Communicate corrections, maintain electronic files, and input information into claims systems in accordance with established procedures.

Ensure prompt reporting of claims to third-party vendors and follow up for clarification when required.

File claims documentation and review wage statements for workers’ compensation claims for accuracy.

Review medical-only workers’ compensation claims for closure and assist in reporting claims to the TPA.

Insurance and Documentation Administration

Assist in gathering and preparing renewal insurance applications and exhibits.

Maintain and administer the Risk document library for manuals, policies, procedures, and forms.

Support users in cataloging, depositing, obtaining, and retrieving required documentation from the library.

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco / Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco / Highspring notes the salary range for the role is noted in this job posting. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company’s 401(k) retirement plan.
