Job Description & Requirements Specialty : ED - Emergency Department Discipline : RN Start Date : 11 / 05 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel Position Overview : The Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) will provide comprehensive and high-quality care to patients presenting with acute illnesses or injuries. The RN must demonstrate strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. Responsibilities : Deliver direct patient care in accordance with nursing standards and facility policies. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for diverse emergency conditions, including trauma, STEMI, stroke, sepsis, and pediatric cases. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Respond promptly to emergencies and provide appropriate interventions. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and outcomes. Support and educate patients and their families during critical care situations. Requirements : Active RN license in the state of assignment Certifications : BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association) - Required Experience : Minimum of 3 years of recent Emergency Department experience Previous travel nursing experience preferred Proficiency in trauma, STEMI, stroke, sepsis, and pediatric emergency care Schedule Details : 12-hour night shifts 36 hours per week Every other weekend required
