Tax Auditor I
Job Summary : The Tax Auditor I is an entry-level position responsible for performing routine audits of tax returns and other financial records to ensure compliance with state and federal tax laws and regulations. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with taxpayers and colleagues. The successful candidate will use auditing techniques to evaluate the accuracy of reported tax liabilities and provide recommendations for adjustments or further investigation. This position requires knowledge of tax laws and auditing principles, and the ability to interpret and apply them effectively within the framework of state regulations.
