About The Role
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Tax Associate to join our Tax department on a full-time, salaried basis. This role is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional with 3 - 5 years of public accounting experience who is passionate about serving clients, solving complex tax issues, and mentoring junior staff. The Senior Tax Associate will take on a leadership role within the team, ensuring the accurate preparation of tax returns, offering strategic solutions to client tax challenges, and fostering strong relationships with clients. What You'll Do
- Prepare complex individual, corporate, partnership, and other tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws.
- Lead tax compliance engagements from planning to completion, coordinating with clients and other team members to meet deadlines and deliver exceptional results.
- Conduct detailed tax research and provide recommendations on various tax issues, strategies, and planning opportunities for clients.
- Supervise and mentor junior tax staff by providing training, feedback, and guidance on technical tax matters and best practices.
- Communicate tax findings and recommendations to clients in a clear and professional manner, addressing their inquiries and concerns effectively.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for tax-related inquiries.
What You Bring
3 to 5 years of relevant public accounting or tax experience, ideally within a public accounting or professional services firm.Proficiency in preparing complex individual, corporate, partnership, and other tax returns.Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax laws, with the ability to conduct thorough tax research and provide actionable recommendations.Demonstrated ability to manage and lead tax compliance engagements from start to finish.Excellent leadership skills with experience supervising and mentoring junior staff.Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain and build strong client relationships.Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; licensed CPA or CPA-eligible is highly preferred.Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment.Why You'll Love Working Here
