Description :

Seeking a skilled GI technician with advanced procedural skills.

The role involves working in a busy gastrointestinal unit.

Responsibilities include performing EGD and Colonoscopy procedures.

The technician will also assist with ERCP and EUS procedures.

In the Preop area, duties include assessment, vital signs monitoring, and IV insertion.

In Phase 2 recovery, responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, using the Aldrete scoring system, reviewing discharge instructions, and IV removal.

The patient ratio is 1 : 1 pre-op and 1 : 3 post-op.

The environment primarily serves adults and geriatric populations.

The daily census typically ranges from 35 to 50 patients.

This position requires strong teamwork and communication with interdisciplinary support services.

The facility is smoke and nicotine-free.

Travelers must comply with established policies and meet all required documentation standards.
