Job description

The AHWFB Rheumatology Department is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our dedicated outpatient team.

What We Offer :

CME Reimbursement : Up to $2,500 + 5 additional PTO days / year
Work / Life Balance : Mon-Fri, 8 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm. No weekends, nights, or call.
Generous PTO : Starts at 25 days / year
Relocation Assistance : $7,500 within the first 30 days

Role & Responsibilities :

Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations

Use medical decision-making skills for patient care plans

Collaborate with the medical team for effective care

Order and interpret lab studies and diagnostic procedures

Perform procedural skills per guidelines

Participate in research projects

Precept students and medical learners

Uphold AHWFB missions, values, and cultural commitments

Requirements :

Physician Assistant (PA) :

Accredited PA Program graduate; Master's preferred

Current NC Medical Board License, NCCPA Certified

Minimum of 3 years of Rheumatology experience

Nurse Practitioner (NP) :

Accredited NP Masters Program graduate, Masters or higher required

Current NC Board of Nursing RN and NP license

Board certified as FNP by AANP or ANCC

Minimum of 3 years of Rheumatology experience
