New Jersey Licensed Behavioral Medical Director

A company is looking for a Behavioral Medical Director for the East Region, working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and direct the Utilization Management Program, ensuring delivery of quality care

Provide clinical oversight and manage services at all levels of care within the benefit plan

Maintain clinical integrity through timely peer reviews, appeals, and consultations with providers

Required Qualifications

Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy

Current unrestricted physician license

Board certified in Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry

Understanding of engagement, empowerment, rehabilitation, and recovery principles

Knowledge of post-acute care planning and strong organizational skills
