Job descriptionLead and mentor the accounting team, including AP and staff accountants. Optimize financial processes and leverage Yardi system capabilities. Oversee consolidation of financials across development entities and affiliates. Manage cash flow forecasting, capital planning, and quarterly variance reporting. Ensure timely and accurate monthly financial close. Prepare budgets and forecasts in collaboration with leadership. Analyze financial models and support strategic decision-making. Take ownership of special projects and evolving business needs. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA strongly preferred. 10+ years of progressive experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role. Public accounting background highly desirable. Industry experience in real estate, development, or construction. Advanced proficiency in accounting systems-Yardi experience is a plus. Strong grasp of GAAP and internal controls. Excellent communication skills and a track record of stability and integrity.
