IS EPIC- Lumens Endoscopy Analyst (RN)

This position is responsible for serving as a clinically trained professional nurse liaison between Information Systems, Nursing Services, Administration, and any other departments necessary that provide patient care. This position uses expertise to develop, implement, and evaluate projects for the facility to best facilitate its clinical usefulness. This position is responsible for coordination of the development of evidence-based physician order sets. This position provides staff training and performance improvement of systems implemented / utilized. This position assists in the development and implementation of the clinical components of care pathways and decision support systems to optimize the outcomes generated by the facility as a whole and its patients. This position is capable of and may be assigned duties as a project leader with supervisory responsibility for other staff during a project. This position engages in significant interaction with clients, vendors, support personnel, administration, peers, and others.

Minimum Associates Degree in Nursing required with a Degree from an accredited school of nursing

Active RN License Required. BLS

Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting required.

Experience in healthcare IT, EHR systems, or clinical informatics preferred

EPIC Certification will be required in the timeframe as determined by the Chief Information Officer.
