Role Overview
As Vice President Business Development , you will lead U.S. market growth by securing new partnerships, building client pipelines, and delivering customized ODM solutions. You'll take ownership of strategic planning, revenue execution, and client engagement while working cross-functionally with global teams.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue & Market Growth
Define and execute business development strategies for U.S. market expansion
Secure new business via direct sales, strategic alliances, and channel partnerships
Target and develop relationships with OEMs, carriers, and enterprise clients
Client Acquisition & Retention
Build senior-level relationships and lead complex sales negotiations
Customize solutions to meet client-specific product and go-to-market needs
Ensure customer satisfaction and long-term engagement
Strategic Alliances
Establish partnerships with distributors, tech providers, and retail channels
Collaborate with engineering / product teams to co-create offerings for U.S. clients
Market Intelligence & Product Strategy
Analyze trends, competitive moves, and regulatory changes
Deliver strategic insights to influence product design and pricing decisions
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Align closely with product, engineering, and operations for flawless delivery
Work seamlessly across time zones : U.S., India, and China
Ideal Profile
20+ years in business development, sales, or commercial roles within smart devices, consumer electronics, or telecom sectors
Demonstrated success in U.S. market expansion and client onboarding
Strong grasp of ODM ecosystems, supply chain, and device innovation cycles
Robust network across North American OEMs, carriers, and retail segments
Excellent strategic thinking, communication, and negotiation abilities
Bachelor's in Engineering or related field; MBA preferred
