About the role:
As a Sales Representative for Cardiac Diagnostics, you’ll bring life-changing technology to the customers and communities you support. This role blends strategy, relationship building and hands-on education as you help physicians and hospital teams deliver clinically proven solutions that advance cardiac care.
You will manage a defined geographic territory, cultivate new accounts and deepen engagement with existing customers to meet monthly, quarterly and annual revenue goals. But more than that—you’ll help ensure patients receive the monitoring they need to live fuller, healthier lives.
What you’ll do:
Drive strategy + growth
- Develop and implement thoughtful sales strategies by assessing product needs, competitive dynamics and pricing opportunities across your territory.
- Build action plans weekly, monthly and quarterly by analyzing sales performance and collaborating with your Regional Sales Manager to achieve annual goals.
Understand customer needs
- Meet with physicians and hospital personnel to understand their cases, workflows, challenges and clinical goals.
- Tailor product recommendations and pricing packages that align with customer needs while upholding company guidelines.
Solve problems with purpose
- Respond to customer questions, concerns or product issues by creating solutions or partnering with cross-functional experts (e.g., clinical research, marketing, pricing).
Build meaningful relationships
- Expand your network across hospitals and health systems—connecting with decision-makers, learning the priorities of various departments and positioning Boston Scientific as a trusted partner.
Educate + influence
- Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations across formats (slides, in-service sessions, hands-on demonstrations) to support proper clinical use and secure purchasing commitments.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent field clinical/sales experience
- Minimum 2+ years of medical device, pharmaceutical or related sales experience
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience selling cardiac monitoring equipment or cardiac-related technologies
- Direct experience engaging with physicians and hospitals
- Established relationships within the cardiac monitoring community
- Technical aptitude and ability to discuss software algorithms confidently
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and ability to build trust with diverse audiences (physicians, clinical staff, office personnel, etc.)

The anticipated annualized base amount for this full time position will be $70,000, plus variable compensation governed by the Sales Incentive Compensation Plan (which includes certain annual non-discretionary incentives based on predetermined objectives) as well as the value of core and optional benefits offered at BSC, which can be reviewed at . Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, and other relevant business or organizational needs.
