- Coordinate and assist in original equipment customer projects for the North American markets, including the following key activities :
- Administration of activities related to OE Non-Conforming materials (NCM)
- Coordination the transportation of NCM’s from OE facility to designated inspection location including tracking and documenting product at facility
- Organize with designated technical team members the inspection and reporting of analysis of NCM’s
- Organize and track the final disposition of NC materials (scrap or shipments to other locations as directed)
- Distribute final reports of NCM’s root cause analysis / corrective action / monitoring reports and others as needed
- Input data of findings on the designated OE quality scorecard’ and all administrative needs of keeping the OE quality scorecard’ up to date with
- Statistical data
- Required data inputs to system (PPM / Delivery data / other as directed)
- Other as necessary
- Coordinate / facilitate warranty submissions from OE customers (dealers or end users) and notify relevant OE account manager as necessary, may also require organizing return of tires or shipment of replacement tires to customer as needed and within warranty guidelines
- Working central warranty personnel and factory engineers to ensure the timely preparation of quality documents for final project approval based on customer schedules.
Examples include initial sample inspection reports, failure modes and effects analyses, and production part approval process documents
- Working with customer YOHTA OE account managers and Central OE technical team in the selection of tires and wheels for new projects, preparation / creation of data sheets and drawings for OE customers
- Coordinate new product development program needs including the following key functions :
- Manage contracted outside laboratories, ensuring issuance of purchase orders and test specifications noted by technical team.
Follow and reporting on test status and disseminating reports within the company or customer as directed.
- Assist in the tracking of new product development programs at both company- owned and contract manufacturing facilities.
- Purchase of needed Benchmark competitor products and coordinate shipments to YOHT facilities
- Review and approval of engineering product release documents for new products.
- Coordinate the distribution of marketing materials with central / local marketing all presentations and other documentation that may be required by OE account managers for new products
- Other administrative duties related to reporting and coordination of OE activities such as assistance in review and input of data for OE assemblies, retrieval and review of data from the Product Management system, SAP, etc.
Position Minimum Requirements :
- High school diploma or higher (Technical school preferred)
- Authorization and documentation to be employed in US
- 2 years of demonstrated administrative experience preference given to work done in a Quality Assurance role
- The individual will be expected to work in Charlotte office
- Must be willing to travel locally (office to warehouse / other locations) periodically
- Must be proficient in MS Office Suite of products
