Job description

A company is looking for an Auto Mechanic Writer (Freelance) to create engaging automotive content remotely.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and write articles on car repairs, part replacements, and maintenance schedules
  • Create content aligned with SEO best practices and the company's style guide
  • Collaborate with the editorial team on outlines, revisions, and publishing workflows

Required Qualifications

  • ASE-certified mechanic or equivalent extensive hands-on experience
  • Experience writing or editing automotive content for various platforms
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms and basic SEO concepts
  • Ability to simplify technical topics for a consumer-friendly audience
  • Detail-oriented with a strong ability to meet deadlines
