Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An educational opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to serve a K-12 student population in a full-semester contract role based in North Aurora, IL. This position supports self-contained classrooms, each prising approximately 10 students, with the assistance of a dedicated paraprofessional. The work schedule runs from 6 : 45 AM to 2 : 15 PM, starting as soon as possible through the end of the school year.

Responsibilities include :

• Delivering individualized instruction tailored to students unique learning needs within self-contained classrooms.
• Collaborating closely with paraprofessionals to provide prehensive support and maintain an effective learning environment.
• Developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) aligned with state and federal guidelines.
• Monitoring student progress and adapting teaching strategies to address educational and behavioral goals.
• municating regularly with families and education team members to ensure consistency and shared support.
