Active South Carolina or Multi-State / Compact RN license (pending license considered with proof of application) Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Experience with Epic charting system preferred Experience with CRRT (Prismax) preferred Ability to float to MICU or other hospital departments as needed Flu vaccine required (medical / religious exemptions accepted); COVID-19 vaccine not required ICU Nurse Responsibilities Provide high-quality, compassionate critical care to adult and geriatric patients with cardiac diagnoses (e.g., CHF, STEMI) Operate and manage advanced ICU equipment : CRRT, Impella, IABP, Flotrac, ventilators, and more Administer and titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips, blood products, and emergency medications Interpret arterial blood gases, dysrhythmias, and perform 12-lead EKGs Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams : IV team, respiratory therapy, physical therapy, pharmacy, and rapid response Float to similar critical care units as needed to support patient care Participate in emergency response teams during hurricane season if required Take your ICU nursing skills to the next level with this rewarding travel nursing job in Columbia, South Carolina.
