Our client is a growing company looking for a Project Accountant to join their team on a direct-hire basis . This position offers variety and is the perfect opportunity to learn within the company! This position is hybrid after training.
The salary range for this position is $45-60k / year.
The Project Accountant will perform general accounting functions and project-based work.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- The Project Cost Accountant will set up contract job numbers and the schedule of values / budgets in the company system.
- Process contract billing and change orders.
- Enter monthly budget adjustments in the company system.
- Process supplier lien waivers.
- Process accounts receivable adjustments.
- Prepare sales and use tax returns.
- Processing accounts payable and receivable.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- The Project Accountant will have 1-3+ years’ accounting experience.
- Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field strongly preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office products and Excel.
