Eastern Virginia Ear, Nose & Throat Specialist is looking for a Certified Medical Assistant with at least 3 years experience in working direclty with a physician. The applicant will work out of our Harbour View & Chesapeake locations for a current time period and then work at the Virginia Beach office as well.

The applicant will be a Medical Assistant that has graduated from an accredited program with at least one year of clinical experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Provide direct clinical care to patients in a professional and courteous manner.

Conduct basic assessment of patients, including : measuring and recording of vital signs, auscultation of lung sounds, and patient questioning.

Conduct basic assessment of patients by verifying patient information by interviewing patient, recording medical history, and confirming purpose of visit.

Counsels patients by transmitting provider's orders and prescriptions.

Maintain a clean and productive work area for team and patients.

Assists with daily department duties of cleaning, restocking, ordering supplies, etc.

Willingness to learn and work with a team and provide coverage as needed for all providers

Enhances practice reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Position is a full-time, Monday-Friday job with a full-benefit package offered after 60 days of employment.

REQUIREMENTS :

Certified Medical Assistant

Experience working directly with a provider 2-3 years minimum

Willingness to work in multiple locations
