Construction Manager

Glass Roots Construction (GRC) was founded by a team of well-funded career telecom and construction professionals. We look to leverage the latest technologies, best-in-industry equipment, and up-to-date construction and safety practices to build a first-class fiber optic utility construction firm in multiple markets throughout the US.

The Construction Manager will report directly to the Director of Operations and have the opportunity to join a dynamic team, gain valuable experience, and be part of the exciting growth at GRC!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Manage day to day construction activities of a fiber optic utility network.
• Work directly with the market manager to ensure safe and quality construction practices are being met by our internal and subcontract crews.
• You will be in the field working alongside the crews 75% of your day.
• Field verifies all construction progress as the work is completed.
• Field verification entails using a utility locator to identify depth and offsets of all newly placed conduit, vaults, etc.
• Collect pictures, bore logs, and other data from crews to support customer Quality Control requirements.
• Learn and apply all quality metrics to ongoing and completed work to ensure that finished construction product meets customer, municipality, and environmental specifications and requirements.
• Night work (shifts) on rotation

The pay range for this role is :

80,000 - 100,000 USD per year(Porter, Texas )

80,000 - 100,000 USD per year(Arcata Site)

80,000 - 100,000 USD per year(Colorado Site)
