Contract Specialist

The Contract Specialist will assist the U.S. Marshals Service's (USMS's) Judicial Security Division (JSD) with various government contracts. This position will liaise with Federal Employees, Contractors, and Divisions throughout the U.S. Marshals Service. Must be a U.S. Citizen. Must undergo a Background Investigation (BI)

Responsibilities :

• Conduct contract reviews, assist in cradle-to-grave operations, call order modifications, and close-outs
• Will be required to input contracts, task orders, and purchase orders into the Unified Financial Management System (UFMS)
• Assist Government contracting officers with large and small purchase contract actions
• Review solicitation packages for completeness
• Advise and provide program offices with examples of documents to be contained in a solicitation package
