Title : Assistant Program Director, Monterey Cornerstone Community Center

Reports to : Senior Program Director, Monterey Cornerstone Community Center

Location : 2100 Monterey Avenue, Bronx, NY 10457

Hours : 35 Hours / Week; Non-Exempt

Salary : $50,000 - $55,000 / year

Job Summary : The Assistant Program Director at Monterey is responsible for assisting the Senior Program Director in the development and management of daily programming for the Monterey Cornerstone Community Center.

Major Duties :

• Conduct overall leadership and implementation of After School programming.
• Develop and implement appropriate policies and procedures.
• Plan, direct and supervise the Summer Camp Program
• Supervise GSS Volunteers, Program Aides, Group Leaders and Youth Interns.
• Monitor attendance, complete reports and document and report all incidents.
• Work with the police department for program security and crisis intervention.
• Responsible for staff recruitment for the after school and summer programs.
• Oversee client referrals to other programs as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
