Responsibilities Position is in a hospital Pediatric Surgical Unit Night shift schedule from 1845 to 0715, three 12-hour shifts per week Assignment length is 14 weeks Care involves pediatric surgical patients with varying acuity Responsibilities include direct patient care, medication administration, IV / blood product monitoring, documenting interventions, assisting physicians, and coordinating care Interaction with families is expected for sharing care plans and discharge instructions Delegates tasks to support staff as appropriate Candidates must be able to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors Holiday coverage may be required depending on unit needs Requirements Active RN license from Oklahoma or a multistate compact (eNLC) license required Minimum of one year of pediatric nursing experience required Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from the American Heart Association required Some computer skills are required Must live more than 50 miles from the facility (no local candidates) Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-617599.
