We are currently seeking a Business Performance Analyst to join our digital transformation team. We desire a business-oriented analyst to deliver insights, performance metrics, and actionable intelligence which empowers leaders in making data-driven decisions and advancing transformation objectives.

You will be responsible for enhancing company performance management analytical processes by building frameworks and repeatable analysis of actions. You will gather and interpret enterprise-wide complex data sets and apply business acumen to create and form actionable presentations of information to leaders.

The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between data insights and business strategy, helping stakeholders understand performance metrics, identify cost-saving opportunities, and optimize operations. The candidate can bridge enterprise wide and individual business areas perspectives and work collaboratively with other analysts across the company.

As a Business Performance Analyst, you will perform the following :

  • Contribute and collaborate with cross functional teams that are developing and maintaining integrated analytics frameworks by performing analysis that connects sales offerings, product features, and manufacturing capabilities to drive strategic alignment and operational efficiency.
  • Analyze enterprise-wide sales data and customer preferences to identify trends, inform product feature prioritization, and support offering optimization.
  • Collaborate with product management and engineering teams by providing wholistic enterprise-wide analysis which helps evaluate scenarios of differing product specifications that balance innovation, cost, and manufacturability.
  • Analyze product complexity and its impact on manufacturing efficiency, cost, and quality, using advanced modeling and scenario analysis techniques.
  • Design scenario-based models to evaluate trade-offs between product customization, production efficiency, and supply chain resilience.
  • Analyze large and diverse data sets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings effectively.
  • Support financial and scenario planning processes with data-driven insights.
  • Identify opportunities for value creation, process improvements, and cost efficiencies.
  • Present findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner, both verbally and in writing.

Where is this opportunity located?

Daktronics offers the flexibility to work from a U.S. home or Daktronics location. This opportunity is open to U.S. based candidates.

What are the pay and perks?

The typical hiring range for this position is $90,000 to $120,000 annually. The actual offer will consider a wide range of factors, including relevant education, experiences, location, and applicable local legislation.

Qualifications

To be considered for Business Performance Analyst, we require the following :

  • A bachelor's degree in business or data analytics, finance, economics, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of complex financial analysis, business performance analyst or similar experience in a company in the complex technology industry.
  • Proven experience in data analysis, financial modeling, and cost analysis.
  • Experience obtaining and interpreting data, preparing analysis, and making recommendations to company leaders.
  • Proficiency in data tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tagetik, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Innovation through tools and technology.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical mindset when dealing with ambiguity.
  • Highly detail oriented, well organized, energetic, motivated, service-oriented, and effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Strong self-motivation and ability to work independently or collaboratively on a team.
  • Continued willingness and desire to learn and find solutions to challenges.
  • Flexible and adapt to dynamic environments with evolving workload and new challenges.
  • Commitment to following policies and procedures and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Daktronics product knowledge and experience in engineering process, project manager, and information technologies are a strong plus.
  • Demonstrated process flows understanding and experience in root cause analysis, along with lean problem-solving tools.
  • Ability and willingness to learn new software and techniques quickly, be flexible and adapt to dynamic environments and evolving workload.
  • Effectively exercise discretion and independent judgment.
  • Effective communication and documentation skills while collaborating with various teams. Fluent in English, written and verbal.
