Nemours Children's Health is seeking a second Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician to join our growing team at Lakeland Regional Health in Lakeland, FL.

The Lakeland Regional Health Center for Fetal Care is an AIUM-certified practice seeking a second full-time physician to join an established MFM office. It is located in the state-of-the-art Carol Jenkins Barnett Pavilion for Women & Children at Lakeland Regional Health Medical Center. The practice features up-to-date equipment and reporting software, appropriate support staff including 3 full-time MFM and fetal echo certified sonographers, a certified genetic counselor, and a perinatal nurse coordinator to assist with arranging fetal subspecialty consultations. Additional MFM sonographers and staff will be added to the current complement once a second physician is hired to provide appropriate support.

This position is strictly consultative with a full-time in-house OB hospitalist service covering deliveries as well as private OB deliveries. Call is consultative only and can be done by telephone or in-person depending on the need. Fetal echo experience is preferred, but not required. Procedural experience with amniocentesis is expected and CVS experience is preferred, but not required. There will be opportunities for resident education with a planned ACGME-accredited OB/GYN residency beginning in 2023.
