Senior Water Resources Engineer | Atlanta, GA

Description :

Typical projects to be worked on include various types of drainage, flood control, bridge hydraulic studies / designs, bridge scour analyses, storm water management studies, and design / contract plans for flood control and storm water infrastructure projects.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related degree(s).
• Professional Engineer in the State of Georgia and the ability to become licensed in other states in the Southeast US.
• 10+ years of experience with technical work in Water Resources / Hydrology / Hydraulics.
• Advanced knowledge of latest hydrologic and hydraulic computer modeling programs, including GIS-based applications, is required.
• Experience with HEC-RAS 1D / 2D, SMS SRH2D, EPA-SWMM / PCSWMM 1D / 2D, HEC-HMS, HydraFlow, HydroCAD, StormCAD, or equivalent programs is preferred.
• Experience with Bentley products (ORD, GEOPAK, InROADS, etc), AutoCAD, and / or ArcGIS is preferred.
• Experience working on GDOT projects is preferred.
