The Principal Procurement Specialist is responsible for providing strategic direction and leadership for their category, managing the company's energy procurement strategy, and ensuring optimal cost-efficiency and alignment with the company's sustainability objectives. The role also involves analyzing market trends, managing supplier relationships, and collaborating with finance and operations teams to forecast energy needs and develop procurement plans.

The ideal candidate will have strong process, project, and program management skills, demonstrated ability to lead and execute category strategies, and strong verbal and written communication skills. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, or related discipline, with a minimum of ten years of work experience, including six years of experience in procurement, category management, or equivalent. Certifications such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) are strongly preferred.
